What are Veneers?

VeneersA porcelain veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that is placed over your tooth to change it’s appearance. With porcelain veneers, you can quickly straighten, whiten and improve your smile.

Dr. Camacho has extensive training and experience in cosmetic dentistry and veneer placement. His objective is to create a healthy, natural-looking smile that enhances your appearance and boosts your confidence.

Rapid results with Lumineers No-Prep Veneers

Veneers

Lumineers are very thin and don’t require any alteration of your tooth.

Dr. Camacho is a Certified Lumineers Provider. Lumineers are a special type of ultra-thin porcelain veneers that are placed directly over your teeth with no preparation required. About as thin as contact lenses, yet very strong, they can be a terrific option if you have thin enamel or sensitive teeth.

Compared to traditional veneers, Lumineers do not require any shots or drilling of sensitive tooth structure, and that means no pain. Also unlike traditional dental veneers, the Lumineers procedure is reversible and leaves the door open to any new technology that may come out in the future. Moreover, unlike traditional dental veneers, Lumineers can cover existing dental work such as crowns or dental implants.

Dental Bonding

VeneersDental bonding, also known as cosmetic bonding, is one of the least expensive, simplest, yet effective appearance-changing dental procedures available in modern dentistry today. If you have a chipped, stained or a broken tooth that needs to be fixed, then dental bonding might be your ideal cosmetic solution.

Dr. Edward Camacho typically will recommend porcelain veneers to fix these types of dental problems. That is because of the veneer’s superior durability and stain resistant properties. Dental bonding is neither as durable nor stain resistant. However, it can be used as an affordable alternative if porcelain veneers are beyond your budget.
