All-On-4® Dentures in San Antonio

Permanent teeth replacement in just one day

All-On-4 Dentures, San Antonio

Dr. Camacho uses the revolutionary All-on-4 teeth or Teeth in a Day replacement procedure to give patients a full-set of teeth, often in just one day.

Dr. Camacho is highly qualified to provide you with a high-quality, full-mouth restoration. All-On-4 is a revolutionary procedure and provides an effective, efficient and long-lasting solution to missing teeth. The procedure uses just four dental implants to secure all teeth in place on an arch.

In addition to his many years of experience working with dental implants and restorations, Dr. Camacho has completed special advanced training in the All-On-4 and Teeth in a Day procedure. All-On-4 simply refers to a specific implant system. Teeth in a Day uses different types of implants to achieve the same result. Dr. Camacho along with the oral surgeon will determine which implant system is ideal for you with the end result being a fixed, stable prosthesis that will restore your confidence and ability to smile and eat just about anything you want without worry.

Modern full mouth teeth replacement

Dental Bridges, San Antonio

Dr. Camacho is very experienced in doing full-mouth reconstructions and working with dental implants.

In the past, using dental implants to support a full arch of teeth usually involved a half-dozen or more dental implants, bone grafts and as much as a year-and-a-half of treatment. So a patient would often be without any teeth, or have poorly fitting temporary dentures for over a year.

With the All-on-4 procedure, only four special implants are needed to secure all teeth in place on an arch. The implants are longer than usual and placed at exact angles in exact specified locations. This technique of placement reduces the need for bone grafting most of the time and can be done even when there is a minimum amount of bone structure. Once placed, up to 90% of natural function can be restored and you leave on the same day of the procedure with your brand new teeth.

How the All-on-4 process works

Dr. Camacho will review your teeth replacement options during a free consultation.

Dr. Camacho will review your teeth replacement options with you.

Your first step is our New Patient Exam, which includes a full set of digital X-rays and panoramic images. Dr. Camacho has decades of experience working with implants, including the creation and placement of lifelike artificial teeth on implants.

Once it is determined that you can receive the All-On-4 procedure, our oral surgeon—a prominent board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, will place the special implants used in the All-On-4 procedure. The procedure uses just four implants per arch to secure the teeth in place. It’s a minimally invasive procedure, requiring no bone grafting.

Dr. Camacho will then place your new teeth on the implants. You will leave with a new set of fixed, functional teeth! These teeth are temporary and are used while the dental implants fully integrate with the jawbone, usually about 3 or 4 months. You will then receive your final, permanent teeth. Dr. Camacho will also provide the follow-up care, including regular checkups and any needed adjustments.

Lifelike and natural-feeling

The patient’s new teeth feel very much like natural teeth. They also look very lifelike. Dr. Camacho uses high-quality acrylic or porcelain teeth designed to match the patient’s face and personality.

Who are candidates for All-on-4?

Dr. Camacho does a thorough examination, including panoramic X-rays, to ensure that a patient is a proper candidate for the All-on-4 procedure. Due to All-on-4’s unique method of implant placement, many patients who were not candidates for dental implants before, or had been told they needed bone grafting or sinus augmentation, are now able to get permanently fixed-in-teeth using dental implants as support.
