Beautiful, straight smiles for the entire family
Dr. Edward Camacho’s goal is to help patients of all ages have healthier, well-functioning, brighter smiles, with more even-looking, straight teeth. His progressive orthodontic treatment is one of the most conservative, most natural and least invasive ways to improve your appearance.
Dr. Camacho uses some of the latest technology in orthodontic treatment to create beautiful, straight smiles. He has advanced training and extensive experience in traditional orthodontic care, so he has the expertise to carefully evaluate your teeth, jaw and bite which is the foundation of good orthodontic care.
Dr. Camacho also utilizes orthopedic appliances to correct narrow jaws and other dental conditions. This can eliminate the need to extract a tooth prior to applying orthodontics to straighten the teeth. Ninety-five percent of the cases Dr. Camacho treats with orthodontics won’t need an extraction.
Dr. Camacho is a member of the Midwest Orthodontic Society and the Clinical Foundation of Orthopedics and Orthodontics.
Pay one fee, no matter how long it takes
Dr. Camacho will give you an estimate of treatment length prior to starting your orthodontic care. You will pay one fee and that’s all you’ll pay, no matter how long treatment takes.
Dr. Camacho believes that you shouldn’t have to pay extra for braces just because treatment time unexpectedly runs over. That’s why you won’t pay more for treatment no matter how long it takes to complete. And treatment is not completed until both you and Dr. Camacho are satisfied with the results (some restrictions apply)!

Delta Force® Low-Friction Brackets
Delta Force is the latest state-of-the-art bracket system offering greater comfort and less friction than conventional brackets. Less friction means that the arch wire is freer to move inside the bracket. This results in the teeth moving into position easier and is more comfortable for the patient. It also means fewer appointments needed during treatment. On average, low-friction braces result in straightening the teeth faster than traditional braces—often several months faster.
Delta Force incorporates a unique design which enables Dr. Camacho to easily make adjustments to facilitate his treatment plan. He can more fully control the movement of your teeth throughout treatment.
Dr. Camacho uses Delta Force as it offers a faster way to treat orthodontic problems, with maximum control and predictable results. Most patients are finished with their Delta Force treatment in about 14 to 16 months.
OrthoPulse®: Using light to gently speed your orthodontic treatment—as much as 80 percent!
To speed your orthodontic treatment, Dr. Camacho offers the OrthoPulse® Light Accelerated Orthodontics system. OrthoPulse uses low-level light energy to stimulate the bones and tissues that surround the roots of your teeth, gently facilitating tooth movement. It is the first device of its kind cleared by the FDA.
OrthoPulse requires just one 10-minute at-home treatment session per day using a mouth-guard like device. The science behind it has been used in medicine for over 60 years and is documented in 3,300 published research articles. Hundreds of OrthoPulse case studies have shown decreases in treatment time ranging from 30 to 80 percent.
OrthoPulse can ease discomfort
Some patients experience discomfort during the process of orthodontic treatment, which the OrthoPulse device can help ease.
“When I first got my braces, I was afraid I was going to have them for at least two years; OrthoPulse® completely sped up the process! Whenever I came for tightenings, I couldn’t wait to go home so I could do my [treatment] because it eased my pain and made my mouth feel so much better. OrthoPulse® is amazing and I am so grateful I was given the opportunity to use it!” — A.V.D. Estimated Orthodontic Treatment Time: 24 months. Actual time: 13 months.
How it Works
OrthoPulse uses light energy in the near-infrared spectrum (nIR), which makes up over 50 percent of natural sunlight. This nIR light provides additional energy for cell metabolism in the bone and tissues around the tooth roots. This additional energy helps remodel the surrounding bone to speed the movement of your teeth into their correct position.
More Than Just Straight Teeth
Crooked teeth and a bad bite can affect more than merely your smile’s appearance, they can affect your quality of life. The following are some conditions that can be caused by a misaligned bite and crooked teeth:
- Gum disease
- TMJ or jaw pain
- Speech impediments
- Difficulty eating or chewing
- Clenching or grinding of the teeth
- Sleep apnea caused by mouth breathing
Of course, aesthetics does play an important role when it comes to deciding if braces are right for you. Orthodontic treatment can make your smile look fabulous. And braces are a great way to improve a person’s overall self-image.
